Tamilnadu 3 Nights/ 4 Days

We arrive at Madurai early in the morning. We shift to awaiting vehicle that drives us to hotel. After leisurely breakfast, we spend the day in sightseeing of Madurai covering Meenakshi Temple, Gandhi Museum, Alagarkoil Temple and shrine, Aayarikal Mandapam, Vaigai Dam etc. Leisurely shopping in the evening (on own).

After early breakfast, we get transferred to Rameswaram. It is the setting stone for the climax of the Ramayan trail in India, Rameshwaram, the site of the famous, much-discussed, much-debated ‘Ram Setu’, or Adam’s Bridge, is one of the places where you can truly visualise the Ramayan in all its wonder. Ramanathaswamy Temple is one amongst the four Char Dham Temples and one amongst the 12 Jyotilinga. Day at Leisure. Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.

We visit Ramanathaswamy Temple, Dhanushkodi (separate local vehicle), Ram Setu, Hanuman Temple, Gandamadana Parvatham, Ram Tirtham etc. Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.

Morning after Breakfast We drive back to Madura for journey onwards. You may also opt to continue the Ramayan Trail towards Sri Lanka for the Lanka Kand, the Seventh Chapter of Ramayan. For this you will be transferred to International Airport and clear immigration formalities before boarding a flight to Colombo. Jai Shri Ram!
